If I Could Turn Back Time

If I Could Turn Back Time I would like to go back to my high school. I was around 14 (not sure if its high school already because of our educational system). Young and free, somebody would say, and I would just love to stick to hobby I had, dancing.
I’ve been dancing since I was like 4, in preschool classes. Genre and places, teachers and friends were changing, but after all I was dancing. Mostly sports and ballroom dancing, and folklore dance. Which one I’d like to go back to? Both. I would continue folklore, although I didn’t feel it’s too much fun, but now I would love to be able to teach more of my culture in this multi-national, multi-cultural society. I can show some moves, of course, but not enough for a showcase.
And of course, my ballroom dance! Waltz, quick step, tango, cha-cha, samba, rumba, jive. I don’t even remember all the names! It was fun. Mostly. But I think I just didn’t meet a right partner in that time. Yes, dance partner. Anyways it was too early for a partner in other meaning, maybe thats why I was searching for more passion.
I would love to stick till the end, to learn the pro-moves, not just intermediate.
I did enjoy salsa, cha cha, waltz and some other, later in my new place. Probably the reason was the partner after all.
Eye contact, understanding each move, flirty, chasing, feeling it, and most important I was dancing freely, without composed showcase, which is the one I enjoy most even now!

I guess the question now, what’s stopping me now from dancing? Well, actually nothing. I keep dancing. Styles changed once again, people changed, but I keep moving, slowly but steady.
Goals: back to salsa!
